Weight Training & Women
As women when we walk into the gym we either go straight towards the treadmill or we lift pink coloured dumbbells in fear of getting bulky and looking big.
Most women never pick up enough weight to get a great training effect. If you're one of those women who think you'll get big and bulky from lifting weights, you need to dismiss that myth right now.
Doing the right type of exercise using weights we burn more calories which in turn burns more fat. Therefore the more muscle we have the more fat we burn.
Don't fear the weight section ladies you will only get those curves your looking for and you will only getting stronger and leaner.
How I started?
I used to be overweight , and I hate cardio honestly however keeping a balance with cardio and weight training is crucial.
I started lifting weights when I realized feeling stronger and having those natural curves is so much more better than being skinny.
However nutrition plays a major role in whatever you choose to do, be it weight training or cardio. Lifting heavier weights made me feel confident.
With each rep I was doing I was gaining self confidence, motivation, stronger body and a healthier mind. Workout routines should never be boring it's something you should reward yourself with and look forward to each workout.
I design my workouts a day prior and look forward to the next day.
Planning always helps your workout routine get better with each passing week. Note down your weak points and strong points & work on both every single day.
Go slow and take it easy - get there gradually not all at once.
A little trial and error to choose the workout that works best for your body never hurts anyone.
Strength training with proper form and technique! Ask for help.
The best way to improve and get better is to gain knowledge and that comes through self study and of course the right kind of guidance.
Train with proper intensity.
Strength train wisely.
